The Vintage Bronze Our Lady of Lourdes Rosary Center offers two ways of seeing Mary. The front is a quiet portrait: the Virgin in profile, veiled, her halo carried by concentric bands that shape the whole center into a shield, with a small fleur closing it above and below. The reverse is cut clean through into openwork, and there the grotto appears — the Virgin standing in the rocky niche with her hands joined, Bernadette kneeling below her among the rocks.
Nothing is lettered on either face; the grotto does the naming. At Lourdes in 1858 the Lady told Bernadette that she was the Immaculate Conception and asked for prayer and penance, and pilgrims have carried her image ever since. A center like this one puts the grotto at the heart of the beads, which is the prayer the Lady of the grotto asked for.
The rosary center was faithfully reproduced from an antique original and cast in the USA using a traditional fine-detail casting process that preserves its vintage character.
