The Vintage Bronze Large St. Benedict Rosary Center is a proper centerpiece rather than a link. The front shows Benedict in his habit, holding the cup from which the serpent rises, the abbot's crozier in his other hand and a small cross at his feet, his name arcing over his head. It is the scene every Benedict medal reduces to, cast here large enough to read easily.
The reverse is the famous lettered cross. C S P B stands in the quarters for the Cross of holy father Benedict; C S S M L and N D S M D run down the shaft and across the arm for may the holy Cross be my light, may the dragon never be my guide. The ring of letters around the rim carries the rest of the old exorcism prayer, and PAX, peace, closes it at the foot.
The rosary center was faithfully reproduced from an antique original and cast in the USA using a traditional fine-detail casting process that preserves its vintage character.
