The Vintage Yellow Bronze Miraculous Medal Rosary Center with Cherub gathers three images into one small casting. An IHS monogram, the monogram of the name of Jesus, crests the scrollwork at the top; a winged cherub head looks out from folded wings at the foot; and between them sits an oval of the Virgin standing on the globe with rays falling from her open hands. The reverse is pierced clean through with the letter M beneath a cross, ringed by stars.
Both faces reproduce the Miraculous Medal struck after the visions of 1830 in the Rue du Bac in Paris. Around the oval runs the invocation the Virgin asked to have engraved on it, O MARY CONCEIVED WITHOUT SIN PRAY FOR US WHO HAVE RECOURSE TO THEE, and the rays from her hands are the graces given to those who ask. The warm yellow bronze suits the fine scrollwork, catching in the raised lines.
