The Vintage Bronze Miraculous Medal keeps the design that has been worn since the 1830s. Our Lady stands on the obverse with her arms lowered and open, framed by a scrolled and scalloped border that swells at the sides and gathers into a shell at the foot. The reverse carries the traditional device: the letter M crossed by a bar and topped with a cross, two hearts below it, and twelve stars scattered through the field.
The design comes from the medal struck in Paris after 1832, following the visions given to Saint Catherine Laboure in the chapel on the Rue du Bac. The rays from Our Lady's hands are the graces she said would be given to those who ask for them, the two hearts are the Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart, and the M beneath the cross sets her at the foot of it. At five eighths of an inch it is made for constant wear.
This medal was faithfully reproduced from an antique original and cast in the USA using a traditional fine-detail casting process that preserves the medal's vintage character.

The bracelet is a handmade rolo chain in bronze-finished brass with a lobster clasp, 8 inches long, with 6 mm oval links. Fasten the clasp to any link along the chain to shorten it, so one size genuinely fits. The charm hangs from a split ring.
