BENEDICTUS
The Life and Battles of St. Benedict
Crux Sacra Sit Mihi Lux · Non Draco Sit Mihi Dux
Step into the world of BENEDICTUS, a 2D adventure inspired by the life of St. Benedict of Nursia.
Journey from the streets of ancient Rome into the wilderness, through the solitude of his cave at Subiaco, into monastic life, and finally to Monte Cassino, facing dangers, temptations, possessed creatures, poisoned gifts, and the ancient enemy along the way.
Walk forward in faith, raise the Cross against evil, kneel in prayer when strength alone is not enough, and discover the remarkable story, spirituality, and enduring legacy of the Father of Western Monasticism.
Faith is your strength. Prayer is power. The Cross drives back the dark.
THE STORY: Benedict was born around A.D. 480 in Nursia, in central Italy, of a family of standing. As a young man he was sent to Rome for a liberal education in the schools of the city — and walked away from it. At the cliff face a dark cave opened. He would meet God there, in the silence and the dark. Fed by grace and the kindness of a friend, Benedict endured — and soon others would seek him out.
Best played on a desktop or laptop, where the world fills the screen. It also plays on phones and tablets — though this game uses advanced 3D graphics and mobile browsers vary, so if it doesn’t load on yours, please try a desktop.
📱 Turn your phone sideways — the world is built wide, and landscape gives it room to breathe.
