The Vintage Yellow Bronze Small Heart and Flowers Rosary Center is worked entirely in ornament. A rosette opens at the top between two scrolled volutes, and beneath it a heart-shaped panel is filled with stylized palm leaves, the whole pierced through so that light passes between the forms.
Heart and palm are old companions in Catholic ornament, the heart for love offered and the palm for the victory won through it, and a center built from nothing but those two forms keeps its meaning without crowding the beads. Warm yellow bronze suits the delicacy of the piercing, and the open ground behind the leaves keeps the whole thing light in the hand.
