The small double heart charm is a heart within a heart. The outer heart carries a second, plumper heart raised at its center, and between the two runs a ring of round beads that follows the outline the whole way around. It is a simple idea worked with real care, and at this scale the beading is what makes it.
Paired hearts have long stood for the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, the two devotions kept side by side and often worn together. The charm is made in several slightly different designs and finished by hand, so the beads sit a little differently on each and the inner heart is rounder on some than on others. The one that arrives will be its own small variation on the pattern.
The double heart charm was faithfully reproduced from an antique original and cast in the USA using a traditional fine-detail casting process that preserves its vintage character.

The bracelet is a handmade rolo chain in bronze-finished brass with a lobster clasp, 8 inches long, with 6 mm oval links. Fasten the clasp to any link along the chain to shorten it, so one size genuinely fits. The charm hangs from a split ring.
