The Vintage Bronze Fatima and Sacred Heart Rosary Center carries a devotion on each face. One side holds a bust of Christ within a rayed nimbus, his right hand raised in blessing and his left resting at the heart on his breast. The other shows the Virgin standing in rays above a small tree, with the three shepherd children kneeling at the right among their sheep, the scene of the apparitions at Fatima in 1917.
That face is lettered around the rim NOSSA SENHORA DO ROSARIO DE FATIMA, Portuguese for Our Lady of the Rosary of Fatima. It is the title the Virgin gave when Lucia asked her name at the last apparition in October, and it belongs to what she had asked of the children at every visit before it, that the rosary be prayed every day. A center lettered with that title sits at the join of the decades where it means the most, and pairing it with the Sacred Heart follows the devotion as Fatima itself framed it, the two hearts and the daily rosary held together.
The rosary center was faithfully reproduced from an antique original and cast in the USA using a traditional fine-detail casting process that preserves its vintage character.
