The Vintage White Bronze Miraculous Medal Center with Flowers gives Our Lady a garden to stand in. She stands on a small globe with her arms lowered and open and rays falling from her hands, exactly as she appears on the Miraculous Medal, while a large open flower and curling stems grow up around her and a single bud hangs below.
The image comes from the apparition given to Saint Catherine Labouré in the Rue du Bac in Paris in 1830, when Our Lady asked that a medal be struck in this likeness and promised graces to all who would wear it. The rays falling from her hands are those graces, given to everyone who thinks to ask for them. What is uncommon here is the frame: instead of the familiar oval, leaf and blossom climb around her in a line closer to art nouveau, so the devotion arrives with a softness that suits the join of a rosary.
The rosary center was faithfully reproduced from an antique original and cast in the USA using a traditional fine-detail casting process that preserves its vintage character.
