The Vintage Bronze Dreaming Angel Medal holds a single winged cherub leaning on a bank of cloud, his chin propped on one hand and his curls falling forward, wings folded behind him as he gazes up and away.
The pose is familiar from the two cherubs who lean at the foot of Raphael's Sistine Madonna, one of the most borrowed images in all of devotional art and a favorite source for jewelry through the nineteenth century.
