The Vintage Bronze Tiny Cross of Lorraine with Flowers is a small two-barred cross with round beads at every arm end and a slender flowering branch that climbs the shaft and spreads out along both crossbars. A fleur-de-lis finishes the top and another the foot.
The double-barred form is the Cross of Lorraine, carried for centuries in eastern France and long taken up as an emblem of endurance and of faith held under pressure. Here it is treated gently rather than heraldically, the flowers softening the geometry into something nearer a spring branch than a standard. There is no lettering on the piece. It is about as small as a cross can be and still hold this much detail, which makes it a good choice for a child, or for anyone who wants a cross that stays quiet at the throat.
