On the Vintage Bronze Mary Rosary Center a cross is laid over a scalloped medallion, and the Blessed Virgin stands at the crossing with her head bowed and her hands opened downward in the familiar attitude of grace given. The four panels behind her are powdered with small fleur-de-lis, a rose is set into each corner, and the outer edge is pierced through in a lace-like border of beads and small openings.
That gesture is the whole devotion, the oldest way of showing Our Lady as the one through whom grace is handed on: hands open, nothing held back, everything she was given passed along to whoever asks. There is no lettering anywhere on the piece. What carries it is the contrast between the quiet solid figure at the center and the openwork around her, so that the medal seems to hold light rather than block it.
The rosary center was faithfully reproduced from an antique original and cast in the USA using a traditional fine-detail casting process that preserves its vintage character.
