The Vintage Bronze Floral Cross Crucifix and Lozenge Center pairs two pieces cut from one idea. On the crucifix, the head and arms of the cross open into a broad flower of overlapping petals crossed by slender diagonal bars, so the corpus rests against a bloom rather than a beam, and the shaft tapers below to a small foliate foot.
The rosary center takes that same flower and sets it on a lozenge turned on point, carrying the design across a second shape so the two read as one. The flowering cross is an old image of the tree of life, the wood of the Passion breaking into blossom, and it turns the sorrow of the crucifix toward the resurrection that answers it. Offered together, the two make a matched pair for a rosary being strung fresh or repaired.
The crucifix and center were faithfully reproduced from antique originals and cast in the USA using a traditional fine-detail casting process that preserves their vintage character.
