The Vintage Yellow Bronze Tiny Miraculous Medal Cross is a cross and a medal in one small piece. The cross is plain and flared, its arms studded with raised dots and finished with beaded edges, and set at the center is an oval bearing the Virgin standing with her hands lowered and open, rays falling from them toward the ground.
That figure is the front of the Miraculous Medal, struck after the vision given to a young Daughter of Charity in the Rue du Bac in Paris in 1830, in which Our Lady stood with light streaming from her hands and asked that a medal be made to this pattern. The rays are the graces she said were waiting for those who ask for them. Joined here to the cross, the two devotions sit together in something small enough for a child to wear without ever noticing the weight of it.
The tiny Miraculous Medal cross was faithfully reproduced from an antique original and cast in the USA using a traditional fine-detail casting process that preserves its vintage character.
