Four full-blown daisies open around a small oval of Our Lady at the center of the Vintage Bronze Flowered Rosary Center, with little four-petalled flowers filling the spaces between and the ground cut away so that the blossoms stand free. On the medallion the Virgin stands with her hands lowered and open, rays falling from her fingers, within a beaded oval border.
That pose is the one she asked for in the Rue du Bac in Paris: hands open, graces falling from them on all who ask for them. Flowers around a Marian image are her own emblem, the garden enclosed of the Song of Songs and the rose garland that gives the rosary its name. Set at the join of five decades it keeps the whole prayer in view, and it is an unusually pretty piece worn on its own.
The flowered rosary center was faithfully reproduced from an antique original and cast in the USA using a traditional fine-detail casting process that preserves its vintage character.
