Bread and wine run through both halves of the Vintage Bronze Eucharistic Chalice Center and Wheat Crucifix. Wheat and flowering stems are cast along the arms of the crucifix and a cluster of grapes gathers at the foot beneath the corpus, so that the elements of the Mass frame the figure of the one they offer.
The rosary center states the theme outright: a chalice with the host raised above it, wheat ears to either side and heavy bunches of grapes hanging below. This is the imagery of First Communion and of Eucharistic devotion generally, the wheat and the vine that become the Body and Blood, and it makes the two pieces a natural choice for a Communion rosary or for a gift meant to mark that day and be kept long afterward.
The crucifix and center were faithfully reproduced from antique originals and cast in the USA using a traditional fine-detail casting process that preserves their vintage character.
