St. Simon Stock
St. Simon Stock was an English Carmelite, sixth Prior General of the Order; reputed to have received the Brown Scapular from the Blessed Virgin Mary on July 16, 1251 at Cambridge with the promise of salvation to those who die wearing it.
Died at Bordeaux.
