St. Francis of Assisi is one of the most well known and loved saints. Founder of the Franciscan order, animal lover and church reformer.  He heard God ask him to "rebuild his church"- so St. Francis went and did just that!  He founded an order dedicated to living humbly and walking in the footsteps of Christ.  St. Francis of Assisi also received the stigmata- the wounds of Christ on his hands, feet and side- from a six winged fiery angel!

After our first plush dolls were such a success, we knew we absolutely had to make a St. Francis of Assisi plush too!  We are so in love with this doll, and know you will be too!

Gorgeous embroidery details on his face, and the butterflies and flowers on his habit make this piece even more of a treasure.  St. Francis is dressed in his traditional brown habit complete with a rope belt around his waist.  In his arms is the cutest, fluffiest little lamb.  St. Francis was once gifted a lamb that attended mass with Francis and would bow down during the elevation of the host.
