Product Details
The Miraculous Medal at the heart of this rosary is one of the most beloved Marian sacramentals in the Catholic world.
The Miraculous Medal traces its origins to 1830, when Our Lady appeared to St. Catherine Labouré in the convent chapel on the Rue du Bac in Paris. Mary asked that a medal be struck according to the design she revealed — herself standing on the globe, hands outstretched and streaming graces, with the prayer, "O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee." Within years the medal had spread across the world, accompanied by so many conversions and answered prayers that the faithful gave it the name it still carries.
