This rosary carries the image of the Miraculous Medal, the design Our Lady herself revealed in the Rue du Bac chapel almost two centuries ago.
Our Lady promised great graces to those who wear her Miraculous Medal with confidence. The image — Mary with rays of light flowing from her hands, the globe beneath her feet, and the prayer of the Immaculate Conception encircling her — was given to St. Catherine Labouré in 1830 and has been treasured by the Church ever since as a sign of Mary's nearness to all who turn to her.
