Frankish-Scottish hermit and abbot (6th-7th century, traditional, c. 554-c. 617), tradition reports him a Scottish-Irish prince who came to Trier as pilgrim and lived as a shepherd-hermit, eventually as abbot. Patron of farmers and shepherds throughout the Saar-Mosel region. Pre-Congregation; biography legendary.
