Polish foundress (1865-1939), Austrian-born of Polish noble family, sister of two cardinals and of the missionary Bl. Mary Theresa Ledóchowska; entered the Ursulines in Kraków, founded the autonomous Ursulines of the Agonizing Heart of Jesus (the "Grey Ursulines," 1920) for the education of poor girls in Poland and Russia. Canonized 2003 by John Paul II.
