Italian Servite priest (1260-1345), of Forlì; converted from anti-papal political activism after being struck by St. Philip Benizi when he attempted to attack him. Servite friar at Siena and Forlì for sixty years; instantly cured of cancerous foot ulcer the night before scheduled amputation. Patron of cancer patients; canonized 1726 by Benedict XIII.
