Saxon queen (c. 895-968), wife of King Henry I the Fowler of Germany and mother of Emperor Otto I, St. Bruno of Cologne, and Henry of Bavaria. After widowhood spent her dower founding monasteries (Quedlinburg, Nordhausen, Pöhlde). Pre-Congregation cultus.
