Gallo-Roman bishop (c. 383-478), of senatorial family, monk of Lérins; bishop of Troyes from 426 for 52 years. Accompanied St. Germanus of Auxerre to Britain in 429 against Pelagianism, and is credited with persuading Attila to spare Troyes in 451. Pre-Congregation.
