Welsh secular priest (c. 1630-1679), arrested during the Titus Oates "Popish Plot" hysteria; hanged, drawn, and quartered at Cardiff with St. Philip Evans. One of the Forty Martyrs of England and Wales canonized 1970 by Paul VI.
