Milanese martyrs of the early Christian era, traditionally twin brothers and sons of Sts. Vital and Valeria; their relics were miraculously discovered by St. Ambrose in 386 and translated to the basilica he was building, an event recorded by Augustine in the "Confessions." The first historically attested instance of relic-translation in the West.
