Roman matron and martyr (d. c. 165), traditionally the mother of the seven martyred sons (Januarius, Felix, Philip, Silvanus, Alexander, Vitalis, Martial) commemorated July 10; she herself was beheaded four months after watching her sons die. Roman Canon martyr. Pre-Congregation cultus; recent scholarship treats the family relationship as legendary while affirming the historical martyr-cluster.
