Anglo-Saxon slave who became Queen of the Franks (c. 626-680) by marriage to King Clovis II and regent for her sons; abolished the slave trade in Christians and founded the abbeys of Chelles and Corbie, retiring to Chelles after her regency. Feast January 30.
