How to mount a Corpus of Christ to a Cross
Most of the large Corpus of Christ statues found on CatholicShop.com come standard with a 3-hole mounting bracket on the back, but you can choose to have our craftsmen add threaded rebar when the statue is made for easier mounting to a cross or even alone on a wall. The rebar also gives the statue extra durability.
Many of our customers make their own wood cross or purchase one from a local artisan before mounting the corpus. Should you wish to do the same, we've compiled instructions (below) to help make the process easier.
🛠️ Required Tools and Materials
• Corpus with rebar pins, washers/nuts (included with corpus)
• Power drill (with a bit matching the rebar diameter)
• Pencil or marker
📋 Step-by-Step Installation Guide
1. Align and Mark the Cross
• Lay the cross flat on a level surface.
• Place the corpus face-up on top of it.

• Keep the drill perfectly upright while cutting.
• Blow out the remaining dust.
3. Mount the Corpus and Brace
