The Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Litany of Loreto)

Blessed Virgin Mary

The Litany of Loreto is the most celebrated of Marian litanies, named for the Holy House of Loreto in Italy where it was in use by 1558. Pope Sixtus V approved it for public use in 1587, and popes have occasionally added invocations, most recently Pope Francis in 2020.

The Litany
