Prepare to enter the world of Benedictus, where prayer becomes armor and the forces of evil rage against all that is holy.
The new film Benedictus carries you through the landscapes of ancient Italy, exploring the triumphs, tragedies, and diabolical attacks that turned a wealthy Roman student into who we know today as Saint Benedict.
This experimental cinematic journey by director Sean Bloomfield (Stella Mar Films) unveils Saint Benedict's wonders, miracles, and battles with darkness.
Yet beneath St. Benedict's story lies a hidden secret for our times - a final revelation so startling it may change the way you see the world. Benedictus is more than a film; it is a summons to look deeper, question what appears certain, and prepare for the future with St. Benedict's timeless spiritual guidance.

The Catholic Shop & Stella Mar Film Fund
A massive amount of work and effort went towards making Benedictus, and we hope to continue making and releasing even better free films as part of our outreach. Benedictus was our first film of this kind, but we've already begun work on new films. Our list of possible movies is growing as fast as the technology is improving (and what we can create with it).
Our hope is to regularly release new movies about saints, miracles, devotions, Marian apparitions, Bible stories, and more, all created in ways that inspire Catholics to live their faith to the fullest, and to plant seeds of faith among the general public. We have already seen how films can be life-changing evangelization tools. With online streaming, movies now have instant worldwide reach, and the Church is rich with powerful stories so we have no shortage of inspiring material.
Our next film (The Grotto) will tell the story of St. Bernadette and Our Lady of Lourdes in a way that has never been done before. Even better, it's a musical (a good one, we promise). Unfortunatley, it will be impossible to complete the film anytime soon without financial support, with the main cost being the time involved in crafting the scenes, script, dialogue, and of course the editing and post-production.
So please consider making a donation to support the Catholic Shop & Stella Mar Film Fund. Your donation will go directly to the making of our next movies, which we want to make for you and everyone out there who'd like to see what we can do next. Thank you for your support!

Prayer of St. Benedict
Gracious and Holy Father,
give us the wisdom to discover You,
the intelligence to understand You,
the diligence to seek after You,
the patience to wait for You,
eyes to behold You,
a heart to meditate upon You,
and a life to proclaim You.
Amen
