Product Details
This rosary brings together two of the great Catholic prayer traditions — the rosary itself and the Stations of the Cross — into a single set of beads.
The Stations of the Cross — also called the Way of the Cross — walk the soul through fourteen moments of Christ's Passion, from his condemnation by Pilate to his burial in the tomb. The devotion grew out of the practice of pilgrims to the Holy Land tracing the actual path Christ walked to Calvary; when the journey to Jerusalem became impossible, the Stations were brought into churches around the world. A rosary set with the Stations medals brings two of the great Catholic prayer traditions into one set of beads.
