Mary and Baby Jesus

Mary was a young woman living in the small town of Nazareth when her life changed forever. Asked to do something extraordinary and unexpected, she didn’t fully understand what lay ahead. Yet she said “yes” with courage and trust, and in doing so, she became the mother of Jesus. She held him, protected him, and loved him with everything she had — through joy and through sorrow. Mary’s story reminds us that God doesn’t always call the oldest, the most powerful, or the most experienced. Sometimes he calls the young — and asks only for an open and willing heart.
