Product Details
This rosary is dedicated to St. Padre Pio of Pietrelcina, the Capuchin stigmatist who called the rosary his weapon and prayed it many times each day.
St. Padre Pio of Pietrelcina (1887–1968) was a Capuchin friar who bore the wounds of Christ — the stigmata — for fifty years, offered Mass for hours at a time, and is said to have read the souls of those who came to him in confession. His monastery at San Giovanni Rotondo became one of the great pilgrimage sites of 20th-century Catholic life. He had a deep devotion to the rosary, calling it his "weapon," and is among the most loved saints of the modern era.
