Queen of Portugal (1271-1336), great-niece and namesake of St. Elizabeth of Hungary; daughter of Peter III of Aragon, married King Denis of Portugal at 12. Mediated peace between her husband, son, and other princes; after widowhood lived as a Poor Clare tertiary at Coimbra. Canonized 1625 by Urban VIII.
