A portrait of St. Mary Magdalene Postel for prayer and reflection, rendered in the Neoclassical style on premium stretched canvas. Suited for the home, chapel, parish office, or as a thoughtful gift.

St. Mary Magdalene Postel

Also known as Julie Françoise Catherine Postel or Mère Marie-Madeleine Postel.

St. Mary Magdalene Postel was a French educator who, during the worst years of the French Revolution, opened a clandestine school for girls and sheltered hidden priests in her family home, even reserving the Blessed Sacrament secretly when no priest was available.

After the Revolution, at age fifty, she founded the Sisters of the Christian Schools of Mercy, dedicated to the education of poor children. She lived to age ninety, governing her flourishing congregation until the end.

"What does it matter where I am, provided that I am with God?"
— St. Mary Magdalene Postel

I've purchased several items from you folks. The quality is unbelievable and the service matches that quality. The prices are so much lower than a standard jewelry store and again the quality is way better. They are outstanding as a gift. Thank you all.
