14-inch Virgin of San Juan De Lagos Statue - Renaissance Collection

When my 42 yo son got cancer I was praying that he would be healed. Being a Protestant convert all I had was a candle with a picture of Mother Mary on it. So I said “Mary help me and intercede for me because only a parent would understand.” I said if he makes it I would get a (my first) Catholic statute of her. My son survived kemo and is free of cancer. So ,now obligated, I set out to get an Italian plaster statute but discovered what I could really afford and found this one and it was on sale, but sadly I waited too long for the sale price and decided to put the purchase off. Thirty days later the Holy Spirit reminded me of my obligation and surprisingly got an email that she was still in my “basket” and still at the sale price! The Holy Spirit told me “you can’t see the plaster from the outside.” Every day I’m reminded, this Mary is far more beautiful than she appears in the photographs. She is larger than I expected, the craftsmanship, painting and attention to detail very high. Now, every day, I remember to be thankful for everything that was given me.
