This rosary carries the image of the Miraculous Medal, the design Our Lady herself revealed in the Rue du Bac chapel almost two centuries ago.
Twenty-eight years before the Church defined the dogma of the Immaculate Conception, Our Lady appeared to a young Daughter of Charity in Paris and asked that a medal be made bearing the words, "O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee." The Miraculous Medal was the answer. This rosary draws the one who prays it into that same Marian confidence, decade after decade.
