Bavarian-Silesian duchess, daughter of Berthold IV of Andechs and aunt of St. Elizabeth of Hungary; married Henry I the Bearded of Silesia at twelve, bore seven children, and after his death lived with the Cistercians at Trebnitz, the abbey she had helped found.
Patron of Silesia. Canonized 1267 by Clement IV.
