That's right: St. Mark is often prayed to for help against mosquitoes, but he's is also the patron saint of lawyers, notaries, opticians, pharmacists, painters, secretaries, interpreters, prisoners, and even lions! Our citronella candle is proven to ward off mosquitoes and other biting insects. We've improved the scent by adding two other known insect repellent scents: eucalyptus and mint. St. Mark's feast day is April 25, but you can burn this lovely scented candle any time of the year to make sure that bugs don't feast on you! .
