St. Joseph of Anchieta
Also known as José de Anchieta or Apostle of Brazil.
St. Joseph of Anchieta was a Spanish-born Jesuit, poet, and missionary, called the 'Apostle of Brazil.' Co-founder of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, he composed the first Tupí-language grammar, wrote sacred plays in three languages to evangelize the indigenous peoples, and labored for forty-four years among them.
His missionary methods, marrying European faith to native cultures, made him one of the founding figures of Brazilian civilization.
"I would rather suffer all the pains of hell, with the consolation of doing God's will, than enjoy all the delights of heaven against his will."

Testimonials
We love to make you smile! 😊
I've purchased several items from you folks. The quality is unbelievable and the service matches that quality. The prices are so much lower than a standard jewelry store and again the quality is way better. They are outstanding as a gift. Thank you all.
Purchased a rosary for my nephew's confirmation. I had some questions along the way and customer service was very receptive and kind... Hard to find such good customer service these days. It was very refreshing and very much appreciated!
I have ordered a few things from Catholic Shop, including medals with engraving and candles. As for the medals and engraving, super job and very well made and dear to my heart. I can not say enough about Catholic Shop, their customer service and guarantee.
