Product Details
In the classic Celtic style, this rosary honors St. Patrick, apostle of Ireland and one of the great missionary saints of the early Church.
St. Patrick (c. 385–461) is the apostle and patron saint of Ireland. Captured by raiders as a teenager and held as a slave in Ireland for six years, he escaped, became a priest, and returned to the people who had enslaved him to bring them the Gospel. The shamrock — by tradition the leaf he used to teach the doctrine of the Holy Trinity — has been a sign of Irish Catholic faith ever since. His feast on March 17 is celebrated wherever the Irish have gone in the world.
