Our handmade St. Rita scented candle by Saintly Scents features a Fresh Fig and Jasmine fragrance (with a hint of rose) in honor of the patron saint of wives, mothers, marital problems, impossible causes, sickness, wounds, and abuse victims.
The scent was created in honor of a miracle associated with this beloved saint:
When Rita was dying, a relative asked her if she wanted anything from her home. Rita asked for a flower and two figs from the garden, but it was wintertime and seemed an impossible request. When she arrived home, however, Rita's relative was surprised to find a beautiful rose on a rose bush bare of leaves and covered with snow, as well as two figs on the fig tree. She picked them and brought them to St. Rita.
Made in small batches with all-natural soy wax and hand-poured in the USA, candles by Saintly Scents are non-toxic, paraben-free, phthalate-free, and designed to be safe for your home as well as the environment.
